I’ve really enjoyed the classes, they’re well structured and engaging, I also like the variety of different reformer classes and it’s a beautiful studio. However, I do wish the schedule were more compatible with typical office working hours. At the moment, there are limited early morning (7 or 8am) or late evening options (after 6pm), which makes it difficult to attend regularly. Some of the classes I’m most interested in, like Sweat & Sculpt, are only offered in the afternoon when I’m at work. It would be great to see more flexibility in the timetable to accommodate those with full-time jobs. Other studios have 12.30pm classes for lunch breaks for remote workers.

One of the worst pilates class I’ve ever done unfortunately, and I’ve done pilates at over 20 studios using ClassPass around the world. A few things made this genuinely unpleasant. The instructor was practically screaming the entire class. It’s a Tuesday morning pilates class, not a boot camp, and the piercing high-energy voice never let up once. I don’t know how she wasn’t aware of it. The first half of class felt like pilates just for the sake of using the reformer rather than any intentional movement (e.g. a pointless swinging of the arms using the circle). The second half had some very difficult exercises with no options to take it down a level. At one point during a wide splits with the carriage open, I added an extra spring on the other side for support since none was offered and it felt genuinely unsafe. Rather than quietly helping me adjust like any attentive instructor would, she loudly called out to the class that I had one spring too many. That’s not how you handle a student modifying for safety. After class she sensed my displeasure, followed me out the door, and kept pushing me to explain every specific reason I didn’t enjoy it, giving excuses for each point and suggesting I try a beginners class. I clearly wanted to leave and get on with my Tuesday morning but she didn’t seem to get the memo. Honestly that forced and unpleasant interaction is the reason why I’m even leaving a review rather than just getting on with my day. There were only 4 people in the class, the most empty I’ve seen a pilates class. Now I know why. Overall bad experience, would highly advise against. 1 star added because the decor was nice.

The atmosphere and the values are amazing; so clean, so aesthetic! So far I've had classes with Polly and Cheila and they have been beyond amazing, can't recommend enough!

The atmosphere is private and inclusive, making it an ideal space for women to work out without any worries. The instructors are professional, friendly, and truly care about each client’s progress. Whether you’re a beginner or experienced in Pilates, they tailor the sessions to your level, ensuring you feel confident and supported. The studio itself is clean, well-equipped, and designed to provide a relaxing yet effective workout experience. For hijabi women, this studio is a game-changer! The all-female environment allows for complete comfort, so you can focus on your fitness journey without any distractions. If you’re looking for a safe, motivating, and empowering space to exercise, Prive Pilates is highly recommended!

I have always wanted to start pilates but couldn’t find any nearby to me then I saw on tiktok that they opened a wonens only studio in east london. I enjoyed the classes i’ve attended. The owner and the instructors are so polite and welcoming. Prive Pilates is such a cute space and it’s also hijabi friendly which makes it better especially for us hijabi girlies.
