Discover reformer pilates class at Ebru Evrim Yoga & Reformer Pilates Studio Harrogate

I originally joined this studio as a member and really enjoyed the experience at first. The space is beautiful, the classes are good, and the atmosphere initially felt very welcoming. Because I enjoyed it so much, I eventually decided to invest further and completed both the Mat Pilates and Reformer teacher training through the studio. Over time, though, the experience started to feel increasingly focused on revenue rather than community. As someone who went from member to trainee, it became clear that many opportunities and decisions seem heavily influenced by factors like social media following or personal visibility, rather than simply the quality of teaching or the investment people have made in training. After putting significant time and money into both training programs, it was disappointing to feel like the environment had shifted toward being more transactional than supportive. There are good instructors and the training itself has value, but I would encourage anyone considering the teacher training or long-term membership to be aware that the overall approach can feel quite business-driven.

I’ve been a member here for years and I can’t say enough good things about this studio! From the moment you walk through the door, you’re greeted by the friendliest team who instantly make you feel welcome. The instructors are ALL incredible, so knowledgeable, encouraging and genuinely caring. Every class feels thoughtfully planned, with real attention given to individual needs. I honestly love coming here, it gives me an instant sense of peace and always leaves me feeling happy, strong and refreshed. Highly recommend! 💕🧘‍♀️

I’ve just completed Ebru Evrim’s incredible Mat Pilates Teacher Training, and I honestly couldn’t recommend it more highly. The studio itself is stunning, a truly inspiring space to learn, move, and connect. The course content is exceptional: detailed, structured, and rooted in both classical and contemporary Pilates. Ebru’s depth of knowledge shines through every session, from anatomy and technique to cueing, sequencing, and building teaching confidence. Ebru is a remarkable teacher, passionate, patient, and deeply supportive. She doesn’t just teach; she inspires. Her caring, encouraging nature creates an environment where you feel comfortable to grow, explore, and truly embody the practice. I finished the course not only with a certification, but with a deeper love for Pilates and the confidence to share it with others. Thank you, Ebru, for such an incredible experience. Sarah x

This review is solely based on my personal experience having been a member of Ebru Evrim Harrogate for 11 months and finally cancelling my membership through ill health. The Manager of the Studio was not sympathetic to my situation and tried to charge me a further £150 month after the end date of membership, despite being physically unable to visit the studio. My one star is for some of the instructors who are excellent however have since left Ebru Evrim and are working at other studios such as Wild Side who in my opinion offer better value in a superior setting to take Reformer classes. The photos you see on the website are dated, fast forward to 2026 and you'll find broken shelving in the changing areas, below par cleaning practices and several stained flooring areas from old roof leaks that are yet to be addressed, walking on sodden areas in your socks or bare feet was expected. The studios do not appear to be professionally cleaned or if they are it is not always apparent. Members share coughs/colds due to poor overall hygiene practices, examples are; hand-towels shared with hundreds of members and not changed regularly, shared yoga matts wiped with dry cloths for the next user and equipment that would also benefit from deep cleaning. The pricing is up there as one of the most expensive in Harrogate. Wild Side, Harrogate Pilates Studio or Kodo much better value and provide parking in a superior setting so give them a try. You'll see the obligatory and perhaps compulsory 'Teacher Training' reviews that will boost the rating of this studio however not many individual member 5 star reviews. In summary I regret my membership at Ebru and it was soured at the end but I also feel the monthly cost doesn't represent value for money, I was a number and not an individual so didn't receive any personal help with using the reformer rather 'left to it' so nothing notable can be gleaned from the additional cost.

I have had the best experience in the Mat Pilates Teacher Training Course over the past 3 months. Ebru & Jamie have been so attentive and supportive and are truly the best teachers. They care so much about teaching and they are there to help with anything at any time. I feel so excited to use all the skills they have taught me and to put them into practice In my own Pilates journey. If you want somewhere to start your journey I couldn’t recommend Ebru Evrim Pilates studio enough. The studio is beautiful and has amazing classes to offer also. I will definitely be coming back to Ebru Evrim through my Pilates career. Thankyou Ebru & Jamie for showing me my potential and allowing me to show that to others 🥹xx
