I started with Heidi over 13 years ago during my first pregnancy, when reformer Pilates was still relatively unknown but Heidi was already well ahead of the game. I went to her because she is a specialist in pre- and postnatal Pilates and over the years she has supported me through multiple pregnancies, post-birth recovery and beyond. Heidi is incredibly thorough and knowledgeable and truly knows her stuff. She has built a wonderful, welcoming community of both women and men as her studio has grown. Her equipment offering has always been varied and top quality — reformer, Cadillac, Wunda chair and more and she is extremely proficient across all of it. I feel genuinely privileged to have worked with Heidi for so many years. She is patient, kind and results-focused and I always feel amazing after a session — it’s the highlight of my week. I often book private sessions with her to refine technique and focus on specific target areas, which are invaluable. Despite the focused, high-quality work, every class includes at least one eruption of laughter, it’s always fun and such a joy to be part of! She was ahead of the game then and continues to be now. It’s been wonderful to watch her business grow for all the right reasons. Heidi is brilliant and truly exceptional at what she does.

Had my first diastasis consult with Heidi and it was great. Heidi is super knowledgeable and is really passionate about helping mums affected by diastasis recti. The questions are detailed and all tailored to your lifestyle goals, fitness levels and levels of comfort. Yes, it’s hard work but Heidi makes it fun time flew by!! I’ve never done reformer Pilates and was anxious about the work but this is a very different type of work out. The small tweaks we did on my posture, breathing and engagement has already made some differences to my discomfort. Can’t wait for my next session.

I contacted Pilates, bump and beyond when I found out I was pregnant, as I wanted to stay fit during pregnancy, which I’m sure is a concern for many pregnant women. I was surprised to be told I needed an initial consultation costing £90 (you don’t need this for pregnancy yoga), but reassurance felt important so I paid. The consultation itself was friendly and positive, and I explained clearly that I wouldn’t be starting Pilates straight away as I was very early in my pregnancy and planned to start once I had more of a bump. Heidi messaged a few times afterwards asking if I wanted to join a class, and I said not yet, she said this was fine. Around three months later, when I contacted Heidi to say I was ready to start classes, she asked if I was pregnant and said I’d need another consultation. I explained I’d already had one. I was then told that because time had passed, I’d likely need to be reassessed after having the baby, meaning another £90, despite the original consultation being specifically for pregnancy. When I questioned this, I was told that if I wanted to join group classes while still pregnant, I’d need a private reassessment costing £70–£90. At this point the costs felt like they were adding up in ways that had never been explained upfront, especially given I’d been clear from the start that I wouldn’t be starting immediately. When I asked for a refund for the initial consultation and queried where any timeframe was stated in the terms and conditions, the response changed. I was suddenly told I could join a weekday class, which felt confusing, was this about safety or not? When I questioned the inconsistency, I was told to “read it again”, which felt rude, and that was the last communication I ever received. I’ve since contacted Heidi four times asking for a refund or even a response and have been ignored. I’m a paying customer who spent £90 on a consultation that ultimately led nowhere. Based on my experience, I wouldn’t recommend this business. Pregnancy is a vulnerable time and I expected clearer communication and more care.

Heidi is an amazing Pilates instructor! Her prenatal classes have helped me so much throughout my pregnancy — especially with relieving back pain and pelvic discomfort. She always takes the time to adjust movements to suit my condition, and her calm and encouraging approach makes each session so enjoyable. Thanks to her, I not only feel physically stronger but also more positive and confident about giving birth. I’m truly grateful for her support and guidance!

I’ve only had two sessions with Heidi so far and I already feel such a difference in my body, especially postpartum. She’s incredibly knowledgeable, supportive and really takes the time to tailor the session to what my body needs. Her focus on breath, posture and gentle core work has helped me feel more connected, stronger and energised. I genuinely look forward to each session and can’t recommend Heidi enough, especially for new mums looking to rebuild strength safely and mindfully.
