I've been going to Reformer Collective, the Hove studio in particular, for a few months now and love it! All the instructors are so lovely and approachable. The range of classes is great, it's well priced, honestly have no complaints. I haven't found myself enjoying exercise this much for such a long time!! I love the late no entry rule, it's clear on their website you should arrive early as doors close on time. It means you get the full time for your class, no questions! Recommending to everyone I know!

My first class was genuinely great. The studio has a lovely, relaxing atmosphere and the instructor was friendly and welcoming. I enjoyed it so much that I immediately booked another session. Unfortunately, that class was cancelled with absolutely no notice. I only found out by chance when I happened to check the app. No email, no explanation, nothing. When I followed up myself to confirm the cancellation, I still received no reason but at least they apologised. This is especially frustrating given how quickly their classes fill up. Finding a slot that fits your schedule is already a challenge, so having one cancelled without any communication feels disrespectful of customers’ time. Hopefully this is a one-off, because the studio itself is so nice, but better communication is a must.

Came here to try pilates for the first time, and hadn't spotted that they did foundation sessions on the website, so I went to a standard one. To be fair. the existence of the foundation sessions is only apparent if you happen to look at a day in the class schedule when one is listed (I didn't find a mention of them anywhere else on the website). The space was nice-looking and packed with high-end seeming gear. The exercise itself was enjoyable and challenging. But the instructor was quite visibly annoyed with me not always understanding their direction the first time. My friend mentioned that the instructor outright grabbed her to fix her form. Generally, she gave an air of rush through the movements and frustration over encouragement. At the end, she told us about the starter sessions and to go there. I doubt I will. I like exercise but this kind of attitudes are why some people go most of their lives disliking it.

Love love love the Hove studio!!!! Amy & Lillie are my favourite instructors ever! They both push me to my max but also make sure that I am keeping my form and I am able to follow all instructions and keep up!!!

I have been to 5 classes already at reformer Collective. Great exercises (harder than I thought) which makes it even better. Johanna is my favourite teacher as she really keeps an eye on everyone and because we are new on this she was making sure we were doing the exercises correctly and making sure I had the right resistance bars as different people needs different strengths and she was the only teacher to pick on that which made my experience much better and now we look for her name on the timetable so we can get on her classes. We are about to get or second bundle of classes. Thanks a lot ;)
