I have only been to here once but the staff was helpful and friendly. Everywhere was clean and also the equipment looked nice. It is a medium sized gym with two floors, went around 8AM and did not have to wait for any of the equipments.

The gym itself is clean, well-equipped, and has a great atmosphere, just like you’d expect from PureGym. However, the biggest downside is the early closing time at this location. It’s quite surprising, especially since the area is lively and most PureGym branches are known for staying open much later or even 24/7. It would be great to see the hours extended to better match the needs of people in this area.

Just been to this gym for my first workout here, to find 3 guys happily moving things between bags and forcing a lot of bags into a big locker. They went quiet when I came in the changing room, and started laughing when I realised there were at least 2 forced empty lockers. They stayed around me when I went to the toilet before obviously leaving. The manager was responsive and suggested to use the lockers on the ground floor, maybe another day, if I go back. Having the changing rooms on the 2nd floor, far from the manager, doesn't add any safety either. On another note, a really strange layout (e.g. squat machines on -1, hip thrust machine on ground and other leg machines on +1).

Great gym overall, but the afternoon class schedule could be improved. There are no classes at 5:30pm, and the only later option is a 6:30pm cycle session. It would be nice to see more variety, such as Pilates, yoga, or Body Pump, offered in the afternoon.

I absolutely loved attending classes at the previous gym location, but unfortunately the new location doesn’t work for me. Classes now seem to be at full capacity most of the time, and when I am able to secure a spot, the studio space is noticeably much smaller. This often makes the classes feel very cramped, to the point where it’s difficult to move comfortably and get the most out of the session. While I understand that consistently full classes may have been the goal, I’m not sure the new location fully supports this, especially given that there is already another PureGym in Camden Town. Why the move to double PureGym locations in the Camden area and leave Highgate without?
